RARALAND 2024 – Fungame Olympics & Direct Strike

Thanks to community member Fieryfox, we are once again able to provide you with the beloved Fungame Olympics!
Over the course of two days, you’ll be able to compete in seven different disciplines to fight for the title as best Custom Map player of RARALAND 2024!

Thursday – Direct Strike RT

The latest addition to W3Champions is Direct Strike - An auto-chess map that tests your army composition skill without the tasking micro and macro aspect. Due to it’s popularity, we’re hosting a stand-alone tournament for it.

The results stand for itself and does not contribute towards the Fungame Olympics Ranking.

Friday, Fungame Olympics Day 1

After an afternoon of Open Bracket 1v1 & Weekly Cup, the Olympics open their doors with three different disciplines – each awarding points for the overall Fungame Olympics Ranking. You can sign up for every discipline individually – no pressure to play all of them! If you’re aiming for the gold medal, we do advice to play as many modes as possible!

1. 20.00 CEST: Rabbits vs. Sheep – 3,3 4v4 or 5v5
   Simple concept: Kill your pets faster than the enemy kill theirs.
   Mode: Classic Game, All Random, Start Game
   First to 3
   2 Points for the winning team
2. 21.00 CEST: Bomberman 1v1 - 8 Player Map
   The classic arcade game turned into a Warcraft3 map! Plant and dodge bombs to kill your enemies.
   Mode: 7 points to win
   Top 3 finishers are awarded points.
3. 21:45 CEST: Castle Fight 2v2
   Pick a race, construct builds and spawn units that walk towards the opponents base. Kill the enemies castle to win.
   Mode: -um2-bal1-gld40
   First to 2 rounds wins
   2 points for the winning team

Saturday, Fungame Olympics Day 2

Grab a drink and join us for yet another evening of fun, non-melee competition and to crown a fungames champion!

1. 20.00 CEST: Darwin’s Island TFT – 2 Player Teams
   Survive, eat, and evolve through a dynamic evolution tree, where what you eat determines what you become. Last person standing wins.
   2 points for the surviving team
2. 20.45 CEST: Steel Savior Episode 2 - 2vE
   A funmap that emulates arcade side scrollers! Control your space ship in teams of 2 and slay your enemies. Top 3 team scores are awarded points.
   Mode: Easy
3. 21.30 CEST: Pimp My Murloc – FFA
   Control & upgrade a horde of Murlocs to conquer enemy bases.
   Top 3 finishers are awarded points.
4. 22.20 CEST: Kitae’s Micro Wars – 1v1
   Players are thrown into 1v1 scenarios and have to outmicro their opponent!
   24 Rounds - First 3 players to win 10 rounds are awarded points

In case of a tie-breaker, we play Robot Unicorn Attack!

All games will be played on Warcraft 3 Reforged on the blizzard servers. USE CLASSIC GRAPHICS!!
