Announcing RARALAN 2025

Hey RARALAND Fans,

let’s start this out with a question. What is better than one European offline Wc3 event for the community to meet up every year? The answer: TWO offline Wc3 events for everyone to meet and face each other on the servers as well as in person!

With that being said, we are happy to announce RARALAN 2025 - a three-day community focused WC3 Lan event taking place in Dortmund, Germany from the 10th to the 12th of January 2025.

What’s the difference to RARALAND?

In our newly created RARALAN event, we want to focus even more on community and a bit less on the best of the best facing each other. While there will still be an open 1vs1 event with a 2.500€ prize pool, the focus will be more on the many side events. Our newest addition to the event circuit will be the “biggest offline clan war ever” in which we will split all attendees willing to take part into two big clans to fight each other to the death (at least in the game).

Furthermore, we will host a lot more side events than usual. Among these will be:

- An ongoing KOTH challenge for everyone with prizes (players and viewers)

- A WC3 Arcade challenge for everyone with prizes (players and viewers)

- The option to send a video greeting directly to the stream for everyone attending

- An all new WC3-based challenge in our bar in the evening hours

What stays the same?

We will still host all kinds of tournaments which our players know from past RARALAND events (2v2, Fungame Olympics, Amateur 1v1 brackets) and there will still be a ton of stage matches to follow. Our VIP area and VIP rooms are back and we promise to have all new amazing merch on site this time around! While we won’t have a Thursday add-on package this time around, we will none the less gladly welcome everyone who wants to join us for an early community party on the evening of the 9th of January. The whole event will of course once again be streamed live on the Back2Warcraft channels.

Does this mean that RARALAND is dead?

Definitely not! This event not a replacement for RARALAND 2025 and we are actively working on making that event possible later in the year to bring the best of the best on stage in front if the community once more.

Some further information:

- With the pro event not taking place for RARALAN, our player and VIP tickets will be slightly cheaper than at RARALAND 2025 while the viewer tickets will remain equal in price. The reason behind this is that we have put an emphasis on creating amazing experiences for all community members at RARALAN - even those without a player ticket!
