RARALAND 2024 - The Schedule
From August 1-4th, the Warcraft3 world will once again gather in Dortmund, Germany to celebrate 22 years of RTS brilliance.
With over 120 players from all around the globe and hundreds of fans in attendance, RARALAND marks the highlight of the year for the scene.
Compared to 2023, a fourth "warmup" day was introduces, adding an FFA competition on top of the existing Being Esports World Series, the Amateur & 2v2 tournaments and the beloved Fungame Olympics.

Thursday
12:00 CEST: Opening

22:00 CEST: Pub Quiz
The extra Thursday opens doors at 12.00 CEST! Get used to your seat, setup your hotkeys and settings and familiarize yourself with the other early bird attendees.
But don't be too late to the party, as the newly formed Free-For-All Competition starts at 15.30 CEST! The community funded a prizepool of over $1,000 for this, making it the highest paying FFA Tournament in recent history. Instead of 1v1 or 2v2, you find yourself against up to 7 opponents at the same time, where in-game politics are as important as micro and macro. Please keep in mind that this Thursday competition can only be entered with the "Thursday Add-On" ticket, which will still be available on site.
In the evening hours, we open doors to all visitors and run the traditional pub quiz in the Basestack bar.

After opening doors at 11.00 CEST, make sure to get your setup ready as the BWS Open Bracket starts at 12.00 CEST! All attendees compete for the six remaining spots in the $10,000 World Series, so winners of today meet the likes of Fortitude, Colorful, Starbuck, Sok, FoCuS & Dise. But even if you're not part of the Top 6, your performance in the open bracket determines your seeding for the competition on Saturday, deciding if you're getting ranked in the top, middle of lower amateur level.
12.00 - 16:00 CEST: Stage 1
128 Players are distributed into Swiss System.
The groupstage winners advance to the BWS Qualifier decider round.
17.00 CEST: Stage 2
The winners of each Swiss group play Double Elimination against each other to determine the six players qualifying for the World Series.
At 19:00 CEST we welcome you all to the traditional B2W Weekly Cup, before opening the beloved Fungame Olympics at 20:00 CEST.
As much as we enjoy the melee aspect of Warcraft3, the game has a rich history of user created content and after an exhausting day of serious competition, we invite you do show your skills in modes like Rabbits vs. Sheep, Steel Savior and Castle Fight. In every funmap, you can gather points for an overall ranking, to determine the best fungame player of RARALAND.

Doors open again at 11.00 CEST! This is the opening day of the $10,000 World Series, bringing you the winners of the online and offline open qualifiers.
A 12 Player Double Elimination will determine the new king of RARALAND. At 12.00 CEST we start the 1v1 Games to determine the 6 surviving players for Championship Sunday.
For Amateurs, we'll also start at 12.00 CEST with three different levels of competition, depending on your performance on Friday. Players fight for a trophy and medals in each tier.
Fungames also return at 20.00 CEST, this time featuring Kiae's Micro Wars, Darwin's Island, Bomberman and Pimp My Murloc!\
Sunday
12:00 CEST: World Series Round of 6
14:00 CEST: 2v2 Tournament
Championship Sunday is of course the most important one for the Being Esports World Series! At 12.00 CEST, the 6 surviving players of Saturday fight for the title and $10,000. While everything before was Bo3, we now move into Bo5 and Bo7 territory!
For everyone outside the BWS, we host the 2v2 Championship from 14.00 CEST on.
