THE ROTATION: A PUBG Esports Tournament

Hello and welcome to THE ROTATION. The first EMEA wide PUBG event hosted by BEING ESPORTS.

You have already seen a small teaser on our social media channels and today we are super excited to finally tell you more about our upcoming event.

THE ROTATION will be a twelve-day EMEA wide event for all PUBG esports players of the region and fans from all over the world. As a part of the PUBG EMEA esports circuit our event will feature the top teams from the EMEA region and will award PGC Points to the top placing teams. The prize pool contains a total of $6,000 USD.

There will be two open qualifiers. One for the MEA and one for the EU region.

The MEA qualifiers will take place on the 16th, 17th and 20th of May while the EU region will battle out their qualifier on the 18th, 19th and 21st of May. Just as in every other stage of the event – all days will be played in a best of 6 format and start at 6pm CEST.

Important: Registration for the event starts today and up until the 15th of May and checking your team in will be needed after the end of the registration phase.

For the rotation we came up with a new and exciting system that will enable more teams from the open qualifiers to play in the playoffs. We created 3 phases through which the teams can qualify for the finals. These will be played from the 26th to the 28th of May.

In Phase 1 the 8 invited EMEA partners and the best teams of the respective qualifiers will fight for the first 6 spots in the Grand Finals. After that, in Phase 2 and 3, we will fill the now open spots of squads who went on to the finals with the next best teams of the qualifiers.

After these three action packed days we will be left with our 16 teams who will compete in the grand finals from the 2nd to the 4th of June.

A total of 10 teams will be invited to different stages of the event. The 8 PUBG EMEA partner teams will begin their tournament journey in Phase 1 while HOWL and EXALT will receive a wildcard to the qualifier finals of their respective region due to their strong performance in PEC: Spring.

This will not be the only exciting aspect of this tournament as Taego will be added to Erangel and Miramar as part of the map pool. Make sure to follow our Twitter account and the announcements on our community discord for more information, including the full Taego map settings, coming soon.

From phase 1 we will broadcast the event live on Twitch and YouTube.
