The Garrison: A historic event in BEING ESPORTS' history

Almost two weeks after The Garrison, which took place from March 13th to 16th, 2025, at the all new XPERION venue in Hamburg, Germany, we would like to look back with some final thoughts on the incredible time that lays behind us. This event marked a landmark moment not only for us as organizers but hopefully also for the AoE community. Here's a look back at what made The Garrison unforgettable for us as a tournament organizer:

Amazing community feedback: We were caught off-guard both by the amount and the quality of the community feedback and are thrilled that almost everyone seems to have loved the event as much as we did. This is something that we had never expected and want to thank everyone who contributed to this amazing success.
Unprecedented Viewership: The Garrison smashed all previous records for online viewership in Being Esports history. Fans from across the globe tuned in to watch the action, creating an atmosphere that resonated both online and even more on site.
The Biggest Prize Pool Yet: With a $50,000 prize pool, The Garrison had our largest prize pool to date, which made us both thankful and proud to reach this next level of competition. Thank you to World’s Edge for entrusting us with such a large sum of prize money.
A Sold-Out on-site Experience: Over 400 enthusiastic fans joined us in person at XPERION, creating a unique environment. The cheers and applause from the crowd brought a unique dynamic to the event that only live esports can deliver. Also, the side events on our LAN added another layer to the event that worked exactly as intended.

A Milestone Collaboration

The Garrison marked our first-ever collaboration with XPERION, a venue that perfectly complemented the grandeur of the event. Their state-of-the-art facilities and dedication to the esports experience played a crucial role in delivering a memorable event for both players and spectators. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner to bring this vision to life. XPERION’s mission is to give esports a home which they for sure did for us.
