The Garrison by BEING ESPORTS - our first offline Age of Empires II Tournament
We are excited to announce our first offline Age of Empires II tournament, scheduled for March 13-16, 2025, in Hamburg, Germany. The Garrison is a four-day Age of Empires II community event with a $50.000 prize pool, which will consist of three individual parts.
Our pro tournament
The centerpiece of the event will be our pro tournament, where eight pros of the global scene will face off against each other on stage in a double elimination bracket. Four of these players will be invited based on performances in previous AoE II esports events while the other four will be determined in an open qualifier taking place in January of 2025. All matches of the pro tournament will be played in front of a live audience and broadcasted online for our audience at home.
Our community LAN
Like all BEING ESPORTS events, this event will have a strong focus on community. For that reason, our event will also include a community LAN for up to 125 players with additional 1v1 and 2v2 brackets in the games AoE II, AoE IV and AoM. All 125 places come with a PC, height adjustable desk and 24" 240hz screen – all you need to bring are your own peripherals to dive into the games.
Our community activations
The third and final part of our event will be several community activations surrounding the event. We will have community parties, signing sessions, bar sports and a pub Quiz in the afternoons and evenings of each event day.
Tickets will be available from the 11th of October.
The Venue: XPERION, Hamburg
The XPERION is Hamburg’s new premier esports venue, featuring a high-tech stage, over 125 PCs for the LAN, and plenty of space for social activities. Located in the heart of the city, it’s easily accessible by car, train, or plane, with Hamburg’s top attractions just minutes away.
