ÜBERFEST 2024: TF2 goes to Dortmund

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural event of the newest game in our repertoire, Team Fortress 2: ÜBERFEST 2024. From November 8th to November 10th, 2024 we invite the TF2 community to Dortmund, for an event of competitive gaming and community spirit!

Event Details\

ÜBERFEST 2024 is set to be a competitive 6v6 TF2 offline event, featuring a main tournament with a €2,500 prize pool. In addition to that, there will be a 6v6 B-tournament (on opt-in basis), alongside numerous side activities.

The event will unfold over three days from November 8th to November 10th, 2024. For those eager to dive into the action early, we offer a warm up day on Thursday, November 7th. This day will be packed with fun tournaments, a TF2-themed pub quiz with prizes, and a community party, setting the perfect stage for the main event.

Venue\

ÜBERFEST 2024 will take place at BaseStack Dortmund, Germany, a gaming venue equipped to house up to 20 teams of 6 players each. Every ticket to ÜBERFEST includes access to a PC, monitor, and the option for essential peripherals, though players are welcome to bring their own equipment if preferred.

BaseStack Dortmund features not only gaming spaces but also a stage-room and a bar. The venue ensures a comprehensive and immersive experience for all attendees.

In collaboration with our friends at KritzKast, who will manage the main broadcast, we are committed to creating an event that aligns as closely with the community’s expectations as possible. On our Discord, you'll find a detailed FAQ, venue information, travel advice to Dortmund, hotel recommendations, and an open forum for sharing your ideas on map pools, tournament structure, and side activities. This collaborative approach ensures that ÜBERFEST 2024 is shaped by the community for the community.

Ticket Information

The official ticket sale will commence within the upcoming 14 days. We offer three distinct ticket categories:

1. Player Ticket: Grants full access to the event and all gaming activities. The prize for this ticket will be 115€.
2. VIP Ticket: Enhances the player experience with exclusive perks. The prize for this ticket will be 232,50€.
3. Viewer Ticket: Allows spectators to enjoy the event and cheer on their favorite teams. The prize for this ticket will be 27,50€.

All of these will give you access to the event for the duration of the main stage. Additional options such as the Thursday add-on, peripherals, and hotel packages are available to customize your ÜBERFEST experience.
